Hello everyone on Just Bento! I'm a 21 year old student from Singapore, and am looking forward to picking up a cooking tip or two here. Really not trying to be modest here, but my cooking skills have been really non-existent before I came upon JustHungry.com and JustBento.com, have even burnt some of my Mom's pots and nearly the kitchen on one occasion. But i'm determined to learn. Cooking is a fun experience!
I haven't really made a proper bento (like the whole enchilada) as yet, but I'll be making them soon since it's friendlier to the pocket and healthier for the tummy than eating out. =)

Hi there. We have all burnt a pot or two, so nothing odd about that.
We hope you find the forum useful; feel free to ask about anything you need to know.

Hi Ms. Tofu, and welcome!
Whenever someone mentions burnt pots, I can't help showing this:
(the post about it is here.)
And I have the gall to run not one but two food blogs! ha!
From kitchen mishaps a good cook is made. ^_^

That's not your cooked to death peppers is it? I have burnt that THREE TIMES. After not burning anything for years and years - I'm too scared to cook it now unless I'm cooking something else at the same time and know I will stay in the kitchen looking at it.
no it's a pot of wine sauce, 'cooked' for about, oh 5 hours...
Welcome! :)
Maki, that's impressive! ;)
