Hello everybody :)
I joined this site a few minutes ago and thought I should introduce myself frist so u will get to know me a bit better. Well my name is Franzi and I am a 20 year old girl from the south of Germany. I am still at school and will graduate next year. Most of my free time I sepnd with friends, listen to music, went shopping, love to do swaps and so on. Just pretty normal stuff *lol*
I have heard about Bento a while ago and aftre seeing all the cute boxes and the tasty meals I would like to join the world of Bento and would like to do my own meals. Sadly it is not easy finding all teh cute Bento stuff over here but maybe I will find some great sites to buy my first own Bento box.
So there is nothing more to say right now but please feel dree to ask if you have any questions about me or Germany. I can not wait hearing from you and hope to make some new online friends on this site!
Yours Franzi

Hi Franzi. You can make perfectly good bentos without the fancy boxes! Although they are rather nice, and that motivates you to fill them with scrummy food. Visit your local plastics shop (the sort of shop that sells containers for organising your bathroom and kitchen cupboards) and hunt around to see what you can find that can be used for bento.

I myself just started about a month or so ago. It's saved me from spending too much throughout the day. I didn't really have too much to work with to begin with. I went to my local Dollar Tree (dollar store) and picked up a couple clear plastic containers. I had tried a few of my local Asian markets with no bento luck... I did a TON of research online for inexpensive bento boxes and accessories.
Try these:

ebay.com also is pretty good to check out.
Cheers!

Hey :)
Thank u so much for the links Tiffany. I think I will check out the net and until I have a real cute bento box I will fill out plastic boxes we have at home. It is so amazin gto see what some people are able to do with food.
Ha - your picture! It looks just like a bento box one of our students brought me back from Japan, all made of sweets!
I love those pictures :) I think my whole schedule is full with cute kawaii icons.
I really wonder why Bento is not such a huge think in Germany. I just know a few people who have heard about it and in my school u cann see no one with a bento box. I also would like to started with bento because i think it is much healthier than buying fast food durcing the lessons and of course it is cheaper.
RANDOM QUESTION:DO YOU LIKE TOKIO HOTEL??
If you do then that's ironic... Someone else who likes bento and Bill Kaulitz...
Foodies do it better.
