I'm a bit new here. :) just wondering if any of you have authentic kamameshi rice recipes? Cooked in a rice cooker preferably :) thanks in advance! Been wanting to make this recipe for so long!

Well it wouldn't really be kamameshi if it's made in a rice cooker I'm afraid, ^_^; since the 'kama' part refers to a specialized pot. But similar to kamameshi is takikomi gohan, and there are several recipes for that on this site and on Just Hungry. Try the search which searches both!

Thanks for the tip, Maki! Will try your takikomi gohan recipe soon :) Hopefully I can find the pot used for kamameshi so I can cook that too.
