I don't have a proper recipe for these, I was experimenting when I made them and the photos are sort of necessary. But it just occurred to me that they'd do very well in bentos, so if you want to go here for a look you'll get the general idea.

That looks really tasty! I may try the chicken in the future, it looks more daunting. But I could see myself making the meatloaf next week! I love meatloaf in general, and this looks so yummy!

I thought I heard somewhere that it was really bad to cook poultry with any kind of bread-y stuffing in it. I'm probably wrong though, and this person probably had a clue what they were doing.

Goodness gracious - if that were so there'd be an awful lot of sick people out there! Sage and onion stuffing is very traditional.
If it is not cooked all the way there can be issues, when the bird is not done and there are not done juices still in the stuffing that is when you run to problems. Which is why here in the States they discourage cooking the stuffing in the turkey for Thanksgiving. But when cooked properly and thoroughly it is safe.
