i went to the Asian grocery and got yuca root.

Then i went to the wikipedia page and found out it has cyanide in it if improperly processed...

Well, let's see..... Here in Perú, where I live, Yuca is eaten on a daily basis. I never heard of it being "toxic" since I always cook it before eating hahahahaha... just boil as if you would regular potatoes, or fry in vegetable oil... i guess that as long as it has been coocked through there is absolutely nor eason to worry... many food has "toxic" stuff in it that disappears after cooking properly, no need to worry that Yuca may intoxicate you....
